Tiny Sprouts and Nannies the Journey
In 2007 Kirsty completed her Montessori diploma and started teaching Monthly at a school in Johannesburg.
She then completed her degree in psychology as well as a post grad in education ( foundation phase ) In 2022 she welcomed her third daughter Maddison and relocated to Cape Town.
When Maddison turned 1 years old she realised the lack of intimate playgroups for that specific age group (most schools only really accepting toddlers from two years old) an hour week classes just wasn’t enough to stimulate this age and their very absorbent minds.
Having realised the lack of playgroups in Cape town Kirsty thought she would take it upon herself to create this very unique environment for nannies and toddlers.
Established January 2024, Tiny Sprouts and Nannies is thrilled to announce 2 new locations in the southern suburbs… Newlands and Rondebosch.
Parents will be offered the choice of letting your toddler and nanny participate twice or three times a week. Lessons will run like a typical playgroup where a set routine is followed.
We will work by themes and it will change every two weeks. Messy play will take place every lesson as well as art and craft relating to the theme.
We will also teach and equip your nanny to stimulate them at home and to be doing appropriate activities with your toddler. It will be a good chance for your toddler to interact with their own age and have fun in a child friendly environment.
The perfect integration and transition for our older little ones into a playgroup whilst still having a trustworthy person to guide them and give them individual attention and guidance.
